Today, a mini-class started on Dollstreet. After reading Lisa See's book "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan" I was almost obsessed with the Lotus shoe. I was curious as to how small the shoe was and found that the desired size was 3-inches!

February Creative Beading Cruise
February 19-27, 2008 will find us on Carnival's Miracle for a 9 day cruise to Colon, Panama; Limon, Costa Rica and Belize. This gives us four full days at sea for classes.
The classes are based on my newest book "Creative Cloth Doll Beading". Dorice Larkin and myself will be teaching the various beading techniques from that book, along with some new bead techniques. Doll making will happen, too.
I'll be teaching many of the flowers found in the book, plus drawing and coloring faces for those who would like to learn how I do faces.
Dorice is teaching a beaded mask which she made for the doll she did for my "Creative Cloth Doll Couture" book.
The cost of the cruise starts at $1047.00 which includes all of the classes and most of the supplies, along with all port taxes, and shipboard gratuities. An excellent price for all we'll be doing.
